Overview
Department of Computer Engineering was established as part of Faculty of Engineering in 2008 at Bartın University. It includes departments of Computer Software, Computer Sciences and Computer Hardware. Department which consists of 6 Assistant Professor and 3 Research Assistant have started training in 2018-2019 academic year.
Language of the program is Turkish. It applies to specialization of students in fields such as computer vision, software engineering, large data, computer networks, security, artificial intelligence.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering is 4 years. Students can study foreign language for 1 year if they want. First two years, basic engineering and basic computer engineering courses are predominant. Next two years elective courses have been put in order to orient different areas of computer engineering. If students pass final year, they will be subject to half-term workplace training and students who succeed in this training will be eligible to graduate.
